Nomads and the First Situated Societies

For most of human history, i mean, for most of the last 12 thousand years. E there's absolute mutual dependence between nomads and settled they need each other. The problem we have is thata, nomads have tended not to write down their stories. So what we know about nomads has been written by settled people,. Most of what was recorded was negative. It was written down in times of conflict. And so, you know, which is why we have a sense that nomads are in thrugh history, have always been violent.
