Food Banks and the Response to the Pandemic
Food banks already dealing with increased demand from families uidline by the pandemic. Supply chain disruptions, lower inventory and labor shortages have all contributed to increase cost for charities. Donated food is more expensive to move because transportation costs are going up. And inflation is getting so high right now that the food banks can't buy the food to give away the people. Even get thim for free, they can't afford to get it for free.
