Ticketmaster - What Is It All About?
The fees were quite low in the early days of Ticketmaster and Ticket Tron, something like 50 cents or something like that, probably per ticket. And so they could either not pay the service charge by going to the box office farther away or they could call on the phone or go to a closer location and pay the fee. But through changing how these fees worked, you were able to share that amount with the arena. So when they got their piece, it meant that these fees were shared by Ticketmaster.
