The Sea Change in Palestin Social Media
The war between hamas and israel in may two thousand 21 really shifted international public opinion where palestine was concerned. Many annalists have credited palestin social media usage, in particular, the viral vidios shared by actavis and gaza and jerusalem. But i worry that as much as we can be optimistic about this current moment in palestinine activism globally, let's be careful of the story that we tell about technology. We want to tell a more mplicated story, mindful that we have to keep the activism going after the spectacular image fades from view.
