The trial was set for 20 15. But thankfully, before the trial started, they were acquitted. Once amanda got back home to seattle, she spent all her time channelling that energy into writing her book. The book advance helped pay her back her family back in full. She works with the innocent project, which is a non-profit trying to help people who have been convicted of crimes without cause. Amanda's very active on social media, and she's honestly, very like, ok.
