The American Dream: A Railroad Over the Indian Ocean From the Pacific Ocean

The Democratic Party wants to build a railroad across the Indian Ocean from the Pacific. That would mean an 8,000 mile train across the top of the ocean. The typical cargo ship takes 50 to 30 days to cross the Pacific Ocean alone. At the rate of a speed of a typical cargo train, it would still take seven days tocross the ocean.
