Do You Have Moral Codes of War?
The ethic of that shall not kill tends to get very quickly rolled into a Christian ethic. But the other piece is that one cannot follow these rules of war in the context of a war, basically a counterinsurgency war of gorillas who do not themselves distinguish between civilians and militants. The argument would be that you're violating some ethic that is taken to be somehow.
