The Problem With TikTok's Heat Button

TikTok can reprogram the brains of Americans because persuasion is attention plus repetition. They get your attention for hours and then they use repetition to make you believe anything they want you to believe. That's all it takes. Attention gets your attention. TikTok does that better than anybody's ever done it. But would you notice if something wasn't viral that maybe could have been? No, you wouldn't notice. You don't notice what they suppress.
