How to Sing With Pitch Issues
Vocalists are obscured by being able to perceive their own natural vocal sound and their own innate sense of pitch by the headphone mix. It can be valuable to put more bass guitar into the headphone mixing so it provides a slightly more three-dimensional sound for them. Just turn the drums up and give them some sort of like more subdivisions with the metal work in the headphones will often help with vocal timing. We've considered scheduling when recording vocals we've looked at coaching considerations communication skills etc and we've considered vocal comping.
