The Impact of Diabetes on the Supply Chain
As the drugs become more popular for weight loss, there are lots of stories about diabetics can't fill their prescriptions. There's a statistic in Matthew's story that blew me away: 81% of prescriptions for these drugs are written for women. The American Pediatric Association revised its obesity treatment guidelines at the very beginning of this year to basically encourage the use of medications to deal with obesity.
