The year of return marks 400 years since the first ever slave ships moved from Jamestown across to Jamestown, Virginia. Ghana started using that as an opportunity to invite descendants of enslaved people to come back to Ghana and be able to seek residency. "It was an amazing experience because you walked down a block and you would see somebody that you had no idea whatever being Ghana"
