Conservative campaigners in these elections have been branding themselves local conservatives. They're trying to not make it about borris johnson, says Jim Kiostama. But that doesn't mean they actually think he's an electoral advantage to them any more. The fact is, they don't see other people coming forward who they feel confident would give them a better chance.
