The New Covenant, the Forgiveness of Sins, Is About to Be Established

The sacrifice to ratify the covenant is the shedding of my blood in death. As we eat the bread and drink the wine, we can receive christ into our hearts as our personal saviour. How amazing that jesus should have taught all that in the per room, through bread and wine. Just as it was not enough for the bread to be broken, it had to be eaten, and for the wine to be poured out, it must be drunk. We have to appropriate personally for ourselves the benefits for which he died. That's his understanding of his death.
