The first 11 books of the Bible combine almost every one of these forces together which we take for granted. The pagans were into the worship of the stars and of the heavens, but they had a problem. They had this God that kept popping up in their conscience. According to the Bible, there's one city, technically there's really one city that God has affection for. And it's not even the earthly Jerusalem. There's the city of God.
