What Coins Are in This Horde?
Coins were found over a period of around about 30 years, bythe most of them in the last few years. They are all early mediaeval socatabe, just after the end of the roman empire. All of them are gold, and they come from, really, soto, right across europe. There was enormous amount of trade building up in the seventh century around the coasts of the north sea.
