How Did You Become a Woman of Color?
Sally Kohn: I'm biracial. My father is white, but my mother who raised me as a single mother is Filipino. She came to America in her 30s and raised us here. And so, I grew up the daughter of a Filipino immigrant, single mother in the American South. It's quite an interesting way to grow up. But I grew up as an evangelical fundamental Baptist church and school.
