SFO Airport, a Hub of Immigration Related Action
In your book, you talk about the airport becoming a hub of immigration related activism in the early 21st century. Can you talk a little bit about that and maybe also the limits of that particular version of activism at the airport? I think it's a lot of people who are on the TSA that imposes a citizenship requirement on airport security workers, which jeopardizes their jobs. And this story of SFO being this kind ofhub of activism and a symbol for, you know, power dynamics and inequality doesn't end with the 20th century, either.
