Pratikami, Duryodhana's attendant, entered the inner quarters of the palace. Draupadi was preparing for her bath when Pratikami knocked on the door. The sashana yanked Draupadi by her hair and dragged her out of the door. She screamed in pain: "I am not in a proper a tie to appear in the court, let me go" By now she looked at the seated kuruksu (korean kingsmen) and said, I have been humiliated... But don't hear a word! Even if the gods want to protect you, Pandavas would never spare you.
