It's difficult to quantify, but would you say that it was much more dangerous than being in the army or the navy, for example? I think if we separate danger from the chances of survival, when you're fighting in the services, there is always the chance. But the risk for the spy is greater in the sense that if they're captured, they are not going to be treated as prisoners of war. They're going to betreated as spies as agents of the enemy.
