The Chief's Plan Met the Threat
Every available sworn Capitol police employee with police powers was assigned to work on January 6th. That meant approximately 1200 Capitol police officers were on site, including civil disturbance units and other tactical teams. Based on the intelligence, we all believe that the plan met the threat. We now know that we had the wrong plan. These have trial by combat. Today is the day American patrons start taking down names and kicking ass.
