Why Value Stocks Outperform Growth During Periods of Inflation
The underlying driver for a interest rate movements, to some extent, is inflation. If inflation is elevated, you are likely to get higher rates. A high inflation is much worse for growth stacks than high interest rtes. And that's the reason that value stocks relentlessly out perform growth during periods of inflation.
