Is DeFi the Leader of Regulation?

I just don't think that the SEC wants to reward the industry for being innovative with like DAOs or DeFi, which is hard. It's job security because what it does requires continue to like education and efforts to interact with the SEC. And that's not what the industry wants to hear. Everyone wants to build quickly and launch these cool products but having really long drawn out conversations with regulators can take a long time.
