How to Memorize a Flashcard and Learn Words in Context

Memorizing words is a less effective way of learning vocabulary than simply exposing yourself to more and more of the language. I don't use flashcards, but not with the goal of memorizing them. It's so much easier to go on the Internet to find podcasts, articles of interest, ebooks for which there are audio books. So the Internet becomes the library. After you reach a very large one, do you mainly just import, I find it and Spanish is pretty much nothing. And yeah, I would say even before 40,000 words, very early on, I am.
