Peter Regan along with Hans-ian Rees had killed the Chahans. The trial finally began in 2005 two years after that fateful Valentine's Day in February when they had all gone missing and the jury came back with a unanimous verdict. This case quickly became the longest criminal trial in the history of England's central criminal court. But while it was the letter that Amherjee had snuck that cracked the case this case only ever was solved because of one man who watched Nancy's video just two days before she disappeared.
