The Fascination With the Nazis
I think it is one of the reasons why the fascination with the Nazis is different from the fascination with Soviets, just because there is something astonishing and appalling about the way that the Nazis treated people. The Soviets essentially sent my grandfather to a certain death, but they were going to work him to death rather than gas him. But in many respects, I think I said earlier, you know, if you look for the person in the group of individuals who who was treated worse and whose experiences were worse, it was Dolo in the Gulag.
