The Death of Nourhachis

In 1616, you have the establishment of the later gene dynasty in Manchuria with Nourhachis as the first emperor. The only thing holding back the Manchus were these warlords who though they claimed loyalty to the Ming and had fought bravely over the years for the emperor. In the end, they were only loyal to themselves first. And if Nourhachi cut them a better deal than the Ming emperor, their loyalties could be bought.
