The Rats of Burns

Burns paid 12 cents a rat to his in-house catcher whose methods he refused to reveal. Rats entered Burns octagon 50 at a time, screaming and clamoring in a wire cage. They were extracted for slaughter using specialized tongs. Beneath the first floor was a basement containing wooden stalls, enough for some 40 dogs. Coenci composedly and carelessly shook them again.
