I think it is sticky because even though it didn't mean anything, it still happened. And it affects your relationship. But if this was a stranger, I feel like, well, I could probably keep this, you know, bury it and keep this my secret for the rest of my life. Even though his friend is begging me right now not to tell him what if one day he does decide to tell him? It's extra complicated because it is his friend and it was so stupid.
