How to Prevent Lost Updates
In this episode, we're talking about lost updates. We got a couple examples here from the book but maybe one way to explain it is, I forget, it's too early. If you and I both read a value and then updated, try to do two updates to that value just by incrementing one to it, for example. One of our updates is going to just collide with the other one. And basically just be a repeat of it, but not truly update the value which was the intent of the application.
