The Wickedest Man on Earth
He is, depending on who's listening, either a totally marginal, unimportant, perhaps rather mad figure. And for another part of the audience, it's going to be maybe the most important possible figure. He was called in his time the wickedest man on earth because he was a whipping boy of the British press. But he really gave his life to propounding this kind of magical philosophy or this system of magic. It spelt magic with C.K. at the end to distinguish it from the type of charlatan magic that he saw being practiced elsewhere.
