The Effects of Neutrophils on Newborns

Neutrophils in neonates have a particularly, but to have a different phenotype from those that they see in adults or even in juvenile mice. And this is associated with aged neutrophils that have been in circulation for longer than the kind of mean, uh, lifespan of a neutrophil. This C3 is deposited on bacterial surfaces and therefore makes these neutrophils better at obstinized bacteria. These are monoside macrophages that partly because the immune system is kind of being set up in this neonate.
