The king berated the elder brother's wives for their terrible gifts. A beautiful woman picked the frog skin out of her hair and tucked it in her belt to the astonishment of everyone at the ball. By the end of her dance, there wasn't a dry eye left in the banquet hall. Ivan was finished being married to a frog. He liked this version of his wife much, much better. She shrieked at him. What had he done? She was so close. Now he had ruined it all. If the skin was gone, she couldn't love out her curse. But she ranched free; she pushed past the confused attendants at the ball and escaped into the night
