Kurt's Suicide Note

Four latent prints were lifted from the gun that killed Kurt. None of them were legible. There were also no legible prints found on the gun cartridge, as well as the pen used to write Kurt's suicide note. Is it possible someone wipe the gun down after shooting Kurt with it and then position the gun so that it would look like a suicide? It's certainly possible, but the lack of visible prints isn't enough proof alone.
