The Emperor's First Hunting Trip
Jungda made his first attempt at getting himself to glorious, storied shen fu. On august seventeenth, 15 17 he departed bejing wrapped in one of the disguises that he was infamous for donning when it suited him. Five days later, he reached duyong pass, some 30 miles northwest of asia. The censor in charge of the passes gate ordered it locked and took the lockd key on to his person. When the emperor arrived and nana knocked, asking to be let through, he was informed that the way was shut.
