Alex norasta and David beer study imigration at the cato institute. They find that 80% of democrats think emigration is good for the united states. The number for republicans is about 35%. But these are democratic voters, not necessarily Democrats in congress. People whoare opposed to imigration care about it a lot. Those who support emigration e it's not that big of a deal.
