How to Invest a Distressed Debt
The national rate right now, if you check the f d i c or the federal reserve weg tips, you've see, sume, one and a half % the fault rates on commercial real estate across the country. You just call up someone at these banks and ask them for a list of their distressed debt. There are certain fbi c reports that'll say which bank has non performing loans. And so you can use that to gauge your underwriting on the transaction.
