Is There a Mindful Culture in Food?

Food is my number one like true love when it came going into media and writing. The Japanese appreciate where food came from in practices like Ita Dakimasu, Shin Renyoku  and Shoujin Niyori which is the devotional cuisine practice that monks eat no animal products. I feel like this is a whole new way of living and exposing our ancestors and their track record is important to me.
