"I actually remember thinking I was happy that the Walt Disney company knew that I was alive," she says. "It took a little longer than you might think, Sophomore year, send a portfolio, got rejected junior year now." She and her friend Andy both sent their portfolios together but didn't hear from them until senior year. The pair applied for an internship at Disney World in Florida before they were told not to apply.
