By all accounts Janbi was what any Indian parent would describe as an ideal daughter. On new years she had been home celebrating her father's birthday not out partying like a lot of other kids her age. So when she insisted on going just for half an hour with her friends friends that her parents deeply trusted they eventually agreed to let her go. Arran: I think every brown kid knows all too well the excitement of being allowed to go to a party you weren't initially given the permission to go to.
