The Importance of Icons

Icons don't work by themselves. You could never have anyone understand those icons. At least with the iOS ones, you have a chance of understanding it. This stuff mainly for me just reminds me once again of something I go on and run about regularly when icons come up. That's just what we're saying with the hamburger icon as well. It's like, why do they do this?
