The first world war was not as mucho a kind of cultural and social rupture in the us. As it was in europe. So there were black units in in the war who that's one of the reasons why black people ended up in paris after the war. I don't see you see much more acceleration after the second world war, in my view, in american culture, than you'd do after the first world war.
