Finance companies are desperate to get away from the dollar standard. The reason they're trying to get together with digital currencies is not that necessarily the digitization aspect means anything to them. Lower friction, lower cost, easier to scale. Lots of ways for kind of water to seek its own level. It makes it much more fluid.
