The Land of Israel

There is a very specific land mass that the Lord is giving to the Israelites. But it's good when you read chapters like this to also keep in mind that this is all part of a much larger story and that the story of land is something that we have encountered already in the beginning. God is going to raise up the people of Israel on this land but not as if that is the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is for them to spread out from there and to take that blessing to Abraham to all nations so that all nations in his seed will be able to be part of the people of God.
