Apocalyptic Thoughts in the Second Temple Literature

Jesus is high lighting these messianic woes in matthew 24, where he would say things like 'there are going to be wars' And so we get the messianic wodes directly reference in the words of jesus. This is how they get carried forward through to the book of revelation. Another another interesting glimpse into he kind of the world of, you know, apocalyptic thought is in some of paul's letters.
