After i was thrown out of a couple of catholic schools for trying to be a cool guy, i started hanging out in the library of the public school at lunch and reading magazines about tropical fish hobbiests. And so there was a lot of excitement about that kind of stuff with regard to anthropology and in biology, but in psychology, it had' really hit. So when i was studying for my compson social psychology, i saw there was thi book there by jane lancaster called, primate behavior in the emergence of human culture. She's explaining all these things in evolutionary terms and suggesting their implications for human beings. I thought, well, we should be doing this
