The Difference Between Long and Short Hair

Paul doesn't give us a specific length, and I think it's actually helpful that he doesn't. Instead, what we do know is that Paul is highlighting male and female distinctiveness which shows up in the way that hair is worn. Even at our school at St. Brennan's, here in Utah, we have a restriction that boys' hair not be worn below the shoulder. Nobody even comes close to that. But again, I do think it's a pretty good helpful outer limit of what is acceptable by way of boundaries.
