Antimicrobial Therapy for UTI
The trial was interesting, pretty well designed. It's a French that was multi-center across the 27 different sites in France. Their inclusion criteria were adult men. They had sub-brile UTI either as they had like an elevated temperature or a reduced temperature,. And then they had symptoms. So dysuria, urinary frequency, things like that. Then they had to have leukocyturia on analysis of their urine. The way they did it is they randomized patients at day three after antibiotic therapy initiation.
