Rick Edelman: We need to focus on living with Alzheimer's disease. He says communities around the world are creating models of care that encourage autonomy and accomplishment. In New Zealand, they say people who moved there from a traditional nursing home became less agitated and needed fewer medications. The first one is being planned in New Jersey; we don't know yet whether this reduces symptoms.
