I Love the Title Department of the Interior
I think I've always been interested in color going back to fashion and I grew up in the 80s which was a very colorful time in Southern California. As an introvert child I was drawn particularly to fashion and with that color as a form of expression and feminine transformation. In terms of the book color became a way of moving into feeling and presence after a long relationship where there was a lot of silence and isolation. It's such a presence of visual art in your work through poetry that I really you know I'm not saying like oh you're an ache, I'm not says that but it's something that I also feel in those other poets work as well.
