The Decoupling of the U.S. And China
President Biden expected to issue an executive order to limit direct investment in Chinese tech. Stephen Roach says this is just the latest step in decoupling and its timing could ultimately hurt the United States. David Riedel: These actions, along with Mike Gallagher's ill-informed efforts to decouple capital flows, I think will exacerbate problems in the United States and lead to further conflict with China.
